That's according to a new report from Canalys that appeals phone shipments in India crossed the fourty mn check for the premier time in Q3 2017 courtesy of 23 % annual growth. That means that India has overtaken the unite states on discounds with only China ahead of it. Despite the landmark, watchers have long told that India's phone market is 1 that going to require patience. India may not be at China levels yet, however there are plenty of familiar names from the country that dominate the India market.

That momentum was responsible for propelling India past the U.S.China overtook the unite states in 2011 to become the world's largest. India, the 2nd generality populous country in the world, with 1.3 bn people, is on track to have just under 300 mn phone users in the country with year end.
