OnePlus plans to mend glaring phone safety defect allowing simple root access
OnePlus has a glaring smartphone safety crisis the firm tells it plans to mend in an upcoming Programming update. The application provides users with root-level access to the smartphone without needing to open its bootloader, according to Engadget. The staff member reassured users with telling which third-party applications can't earn complete root privileges from EngineerMode. Coupled with this EngineerMode safety loophole, it doesn't look great for OnePlus' overall consumer security. Qualcomm disavowed the EngineerMode application in statement on Wednesday, telling which it was modified from the Qualcomm original.
