Having launched the Find X with a sliding pop-up camera, Oppo seems to be investing heavily in bringing newer technology to the masses before its rivals. As per a report, Oppo is currently working on full-screen smartphone along with a secondary display. There is no sign of a fingerprint scanner in the renders surprisingly, hinting that Oppo might throw in an in-display fingerprint scanner into the secondary screen. But looking at the schematics, it seems highly unlikely for a fingerprint scanner to be present in a display places so high up. The secondary display is also placed on the upper half of the rear panel, in a manner that keeps fingers away from the possibility of accidentally touching the display.

In late 2017 Razer launched its gaming phone called Razer phone and other smartphone makers like Xiaomi and Asus followed the suit.Now, it seems that Samsung is planning to join the league with its gaming smartphone. In a tweet, he claims that Samsung is working on a smartphone that is specially designed for gaming. However, he did not reveal any other key specifications of the alleged upcoming smartphone from Samsung. We can assume that Samsung may include an SPen-like stylus in its upcoming gaming smartphone with additional functionalities.On a related note, Samsung is all set to launch its Galaxy Note 9 smartphone at Unpacked Event scheduled for August 9 in New York.

According to Light, the multi-lens array on its current (working) prototype can shoot up to 64-megapixel shots, with promises of better low-light performance and depth effects (presumably building off the type of portrait mode features offered on current smartphones.) But if any company is suited to stuff more cameras into a phone, it's probably Light. After all, once you've done 16 cameras, a mere nine should be a walk in the park, right? Fortunately, we likely won't have long to wait to find out — The Washington Post report says that Light will be announcing a phone with its camera technology later this year.
