Huawei's Honor sub-brand showed up at IFA with a surprise this year: an early tease of its new Magic 2 flagship, a follow-up to the company's original AI-enhanced Magic phone from 2016. The big update on the Magic 2 is a new "Magic Slide" feature that hides the camera underneath a slider to enable a full, bezel-free screen without a notch — similar to the sliding Oppo Find X from earlier this year. The Magic 2 will also be powered off of Huawei's new (and still unannounced) Kirin 980 processor, which is presumably the successor to the current-gen Kirin 970 chip found in phones like the P20 Pro. According to Forbes, Honor president George Zhao confirmed in an interview that the Magic 2 is at least two months away from release, but the company wanted to unveil it early since "a competitor" had heard about the design and was planning a similar phone. Just hours after the Magic 2 was revealed, Lin Bin, the president of Xiaomi, posted a render of the company's upcoming Mi Mix 3 flagship (via GSMArena) featuring a similar sliding camera design, so it seems that Zhao was right to be concerned.
Realme to launch a new midrange smartphone Realme 2 Pro this month
The Realme brand has made a name for itself in the smartphone industry within a short period of time. Realme claimed to have sold over 2 lakh units of the smartphone within five minutes during the first sale. Considering the Pro moniker, the device might go against phones like Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. The base variant is priced at Rs 8,990 whereas the higher variant comes with a price tag of Rs 10,990. The device comes with a 6.2-inch display with a notch on top and 19:9 aspect ratio.

As it stated in Huawei has announced the date for the launch of its new flagship, the Huawei Mate 20. Like Samsung, Huawei has two flagship smartphones: The P series and the Mate series. Huawei's P20 had a triple rear camera, and it's possible that the Mate 20 will follow in the same footsteps. On the software side, the Mate 20 is likely to launch with Android Pie. The upcoming smartphone from OnePlus — the OnePlus 6T — will have a fingerprint sensor built into the display called "Screen Unlock," the company confirmed to CNET. For anyone who likes using their devices while it's resting on a table, the rear-facing fingerprint sensor is a bad idea. The Galaxy S8's rear-facing fingerprint sensor was especially hard to use as it was so close to the camera.
