Google Pixel 3 review: The best smartphone camera around (for now)

As it stated in Is it really "the best camera ever?" Let's get this out of the way first: I really do think the Pixel 3's camera is the best I've used on a smartphone. Top Shot ultimately seems like an extension of what Google has been doing in its Google Photos app for years. Two images: The first shows portrait mode turned on, while the second shows it with portrait mode turned off. It's a subtle thing, but the Pixel 3 portrait mode will blur things in Portrait Mode both in front and in back of the subject. At this point in time, I still think it's kind of crazy to buy a smartphone simply because it has the "best" camera.
