In a report published by International Data Corporation (IDC), the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has skipped several ranks to join the top cream of smartphone manufacturers like Apple and Samsung. The IDC report states that OnePlus is now the brand with second highest loyalty at 31 per cent. The OnePlus 6T runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box. The OnePlus 6T has been priced in India for Rs 37,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant.

Apple remains top smartphone seller in Taiwan in November

as mentioned in Taipei, Dec. 22 (CNA) Apple Inc., the U.S. consumer electronics giant, retained its title as the best smartphone seller in Taiwan in terms of both sales volume and sales value in November, industrial sources said Saturday. Bucking a decline in overall smartphone sales in Taiwan in November, Apple benefited from the launch of its three latest iPhone models -- the 5.8-inch iPhone XS, the 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max and the 6.1-inch iPhone XR -- to continue to rank as the No. Sony came in sixth after taking a market share of 4.5 percent, followed by China's Xiaomi and HTC (tied for the 7th spot with 4.4 percent market share), French brand Sugar (2.2 percent) and Finland's Nokia (1.7 percent). Samsung came in second with 10.6 percent in market share, ahead of OPPO (4.9 percent), Asustek (4.6 percent) and Huawei (4.2 percent). Apple's iPhones took six spots in the top 10 best selling models in the local market last month.
