Trending on Youtube, Booredatwork.com has a comparison of the Huawei Mate X versus the Samsung Galaxy Fold. Samsung was the first to unveil its folding smartphone, and Huawei followed quickly at Mobile World Congress. Two different storage firms announced them at Mobile World Congress, with Micron and SanDisk both saying they'll start shipping this Spring. Getting one will cost you though, with SanDisk saying the release price will be $450 USD.
Oppo's foldable smartphone is another futuristic wraparound display device
Mobile World Congress is happening this week, and so far it has definitely been the foldable smartphone show. Next up in the foldable smartphone wars is Oppo, with the company's vice president, Brian Shen, showing off this unnamed prototype foldable on Weibo, a Chinese social media site. Oppo's foldable looks a lot like the Huawei Mate X, with a wraparound exterior display and a vertical bar for cameras, buttons, and ports. Every foldable smartphone vendor is at a different stage of development and/or unveiling. With the Galaxy Fold being priced at $1,980 and the Huawei Mate X clocking in at $2,600, things are looking expensive.

as informed in Samsung has unveiled its first foldable phone, the Galaxy Fold, which transforms into a tablet, adding a new category to the smartphone market. Samsung Electronics president DJ Koh said the Galaxy Fold would set the industry on a new path. Fingerprint scannerAfter the excitement of the Galaxy Fold, the flagship Galaxy S10 got its turn in the spotlight. Samsung has kept a similar design to last year's S9 and S9 Plus, although it is adding new colours to the line-up. The Galaxy S10 will be available from March 8th, starting at €769 for the S10e, €919 for the S10 128GB version, and €1,019 for the S10 Plus.
