Electroneum launches a crypto-mining smartphone
But, today, at the telecom industry's flagship event, the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Electroneum launches the M1, the first mobile phone which allows users to "mine" crypto and so—eventually—recoup the phone's cost. Instead, Electroneum has a nifty "mining simulation" going, and small amounts of ETN are regularly airdropped into users wallets. Still, that's on a par with deals from mainstream mobile operators, where you pay off the phone over 24 months in cash. Industry partnersAccording to Ells, Electroneum has no plans to distribute the M1 in Latin America. Unlike Dash, Electroneum has yet to divulge details about industry partners contributing to the M1.

referring to At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, it unveiled four Xperia handsets, ditching its previous 'XZ' branding for the devices. The flagship model, the Xperia 1, now has three rear cameras and a 6.5-inch 4K Oled display. Meanwhile, the Xperia 10 and 10 Plus handsets, with 6-inch and 6.5-inch displays, feature dual cameras on the back of the phone, although only the 10 Plus model uses an optical zoom. The company is making a point of the phones' 21:9 ratio, making them considerably narrower than other phones on the market.
