Some of this could finally get official confirmation at Samsung's MWC event, but in any case a full-throated, official unveiling of the Galaxy S8 is expected for March 29th. As for biometrics, the device will reportedly sport a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and will pick up where the failed Note7 left off with an iris-scanning capability. Meanwhile, TechRadar is reporting that the event will feature a one-minute clip profiling the device. samsung is inviting journalists to a press conference at MWC scheduled for February 26th, where it says it "will unveil new products"; and the company has also announced the event will be live-streamed – tellingly, on the Galaxy section of its website. The Galaxy S8's display will take up almost the entire front face of the device, and like the Galaxy S7 Edge, will feature a curved screen.
