The smartphone packs a huge battery, one of the largest you'll find in a mass-market device right now (though there are certainly bigger batteries.) The LG X Power2 packs a 4,500mAh non-removable battery under the hood, which LG says provides up to 18 hours of web surfing or 15 hours of continuous video playback. LG says that, despite the size of the battery, the phone can get a 50-percent charge after an hour at the outlet or a full charge after two hours.

Huawei also unveiled a new smartwatch, with a more sporty look than the first device it introduced two years ago, targeting fitness users. Huawei, the world's third-largest phone maker, has taken aim in recent years at the high end of the market, which is dominated by Apple and Samsung though neither company is presenting new smartphones in Barcelona.
