That's according to a new report from Canalys that appeals phone shipments in India crossed the fourty mn check for the premier time in Q3 2017 courtesy of 23 % annual growth. That means that India has overtaken the unite states on discounds with only China ahead of it. Despite the landmark, watchers have long told that India's phone market is 1 that going to require patience. India may not be at China levels yet, however there are plenty of familiar names from the country that dominate the India market.

Samsung and Xiaomi, that sent 9.4 mn and 9.2 mn smartphones to India, respectively, account for nearly half of the entire Indian phone market in the country.
