Samsung Galaxy Note 7 probably has display and speed issues
The new Galaxy Note 7 is the latest and greatest smartphone in Samsung's portfolio, and it is receiving quite a few plaudits from all quarters. That said, Samsung's new phablet is far from perfect, and having spent time with it, many are finding chinks in its otherwise shining armor. The Galaxy Note 7 is the first smartphone to have its display and body protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 5, but video tests surfacing online show that the display is prone to scratching. Not surprisingly, Corning quickly refuted the claims.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 review: Take note, this is the big-screen phone to beat
The Samsung Note family is characterised by one thing: the inclusion of a stylus (that's S Pen in Samsung speak).Previously, the Note stood slightly apart from other devices because of its size. However, as phones have grown, it has been accepted that bigger is a bit better, and the Note has become increasingly normal.Because of its release later in the year than the majority of smartphones, it has the chance to evolve and expand from Samsung's regular devices.

Galaxy Note 7 S Pen can get stuck, just like the Note 5
If you're the proud owner of a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 you should be very careful when putting the S Pen stylus in its slot, as there have been reports of the stylus getting stuck. This apparently happens if you push the S Pen too hard, causing it to get trapped in the "water-tight silo".So be gentle with the stylus, as you only need to press it in lightly, and if you do get the S Pen stuck you should resist the urge to keep pushing, as rather than causing it to spring back up this will apparently get it even more stuck.Instead, some users have found that using a pin or a needle to carefully pry the S Pen back up will solve the problem, according to Android Community, which spotted early reports of the issue.

THE YEAR-OLD iPhone 6S has held its own against the Galaxy Note 7, trashing the Samsung handset in a speed test. The real-world speed test comes courtesy of PhoneBuff (below), which pitted the iPhone 6S against the Note 7 to see which smartphone can open and close apps the quickest. The Galaxy Note 7 comes out on top on paper with its six-month-old octa-core Exynos 8890 chip and 4GB of RAM, but the iPhone 6S blew past the Samsung smartphone in the speed test, despite its inferior year-old dual-core A9 SoC and 2GB of RAM.It took the Galaxy Note 7 two minutes and four seconds to launch 14 apps and render a video, while the iPhone did the same in one minute and 21 seconds.
